INDIE’s SS23 edition explores the theme of Romance. From the grand, sweeping gestures of cinematic love stories to the quiet, intimate moments shared between two people, the issue delves into the ways in which romance shapes our lives and worldviews—as well as its seismic impact on aesthetic and literary culture.

The issue features Akinola Davies Jr, Torbjørn Rødland, Olivia Whittick and Ana Roque, amongst a curation of contributors who explore the role of romance in fashion, design, and their work, as well as the ways in which romantic themes influence our lives and relationships. INDIE SS23 aims to be a thought-provoking, engaging, and visually rich exploration of the many facets of romance.
