Jav Rubin

Jav Rubin was born in Madrid with an innate desire to discover, reflect upon, and understand the human condition. With a deep interest in art from an early age, he prepared to study Fine Arts at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), graduating with the "Special Award" in 2011. He continued his career in Barcelona, completing the PRODART Master's in artistic research and creation at the Universitat de Barcelona (UB).

Through illustration, he found the tools to reveal his world and reality as he understands it, always seeking to expose the hidden side of feelings and make them visible in his work. Working in a realistic style, his objective is to bring the subconscious to the surface, submerging reality in the world of emotions and dreams. His work exposes the authentic aspect of a lost generation defined by instability and immediacy, capturing the raw emotional truth beneath the surface of contemporary life.
