HAMPI is a lyrical, bilingual poetry collection that traces a journey of remembrance, healing, and cultural connection. Moving between the United States, Ecuador, and Peru, the book brings together poetry and photography to reflect on landscapes, heritage, and the process of reconnecting with personal and collective histories.

Written in English, Spanish, and Quechua, HAMPI weaves together reflections on identity, memory, and resilience, offering a contemplative exploration of growth and self-discovery. The book has received multiple national and international awards for its hybrid and bilingual literary approach.

River Coello is a cultural practitioner and multidisciplinary artist based in Orlando. Their work spans writing, translation, research, facilitation, performance, and visual media. Rooted in Andean heritage, their practice explores themes of memory, community, and care, bringing together personal and collective narratives through a thoughtful and interdisciplinary approach.
