James Mac

James Mac is an Irish creative makeup artist focused on higher-orbit designs through the medium of makeup. He strives to create and find what's not necessarily obvious to untrained eye. Known best for being Netflix's “Glow Up” Season 2 Finalist (2020) his work is recognised globally with a focus now on Europe/ UK. 

As a queer artist working in makeup and living with Tourette's Syndrome James prioritises awareness for everyone that's part of the LGBTQIA+ community in all forms. 

His evolving journey through makeup has always been a source of expressing identity, form of healing, inspiration for others and a way to break through the normative.

Collaborators have included MAC Cosmetics, YSL Beauty, SAMSUNG, Jean Paul Gautier, Mugler, Maybelline, Garnier and more.
