Beautiful Creatures is a photography book by Amsterdam-based photographer Peter van der Wal, also known as The Sinful Son, documenting queer nightlife and creative communities between 2020 and 2025.

Featuring more than 350 Polaroids captured across Amsterdam, Berlin, London, and beyond, the book brings together vivid portraits of DJs, dancers, performers, and other queer nightlife figures.

Combining photography with personal stories and lived experiences, Beautiful Creatures offers a vibrant portrait of an international queer cultural scene and the people who shape it.
