In Bellissima, photographer Carla Rossi examines the portrayal of women in Italian media culture.

The project follows Rebecca, a young contestant Rossi encountered during the Miss Italia selections, documenting her journey from initial castings to national auditions. Through this narrative, the book reveals an industry shaped by image-making, competition, and the pressure to conform to a narrow and highly curated standard of femininity.
