About the Artist
HORNO is an Argentinian artist known for playful and subversive illustrations that explore identity, relationships, and visual storytelling through a distinctive aesthetic.
Working under this moniker, the artist develops two complementary visual approaches that challenge conventional perspectives while maintaining an accessible, graphic style. The work often focuses on close-up compositions and expressive details, using bold color contrasts and simplified forms to create dynamic and engaging scenes.
The HORNO series presents line-drawn moments that emphasize gesture, interaction, and composition, while the SOFT HORNO series reinterprets familiar character archetypes through a stylized and imaginative lens, blending humor with visual experimentation.
Influenced by iconic illustration traditions, the work combines curved lines and vibrant palettes to create compositions that are both striking and approachable. Through this visual language, the artist reflects on representation and perception, inviting viewers to engage with familiar themes from a fresh perspective.
