Elska Taipei Taiwan

Elska Taipei is the second edition of the fifth book in Elska, an independent photography and storytelling series created by British photographer and writer Liam Campbell in Taipei, Taiwan.

Inspired by Taipei’s reputation as the “gay capital of Asia”, this issue introduces fifteen local Taiwanese men through candid portraits and personal stories. Combining photography taken in city streets and private homes with diary entries and contributions from local participants, it offers an intimate glimpse into queer life, personal identity, and everyday experiences in Taiwan. This completely reworked second edition features previously unpublished photographs, new stories, and a new cover, with texts in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Tagalog.
