Ren Hang

Ren Hang is the only international collection of the work of Beijing-based photographer Ren Hang (1987–2017), bringing together images from his brief but influential career.

Born in Changchun and based in Beijing, Ren Hang developed a distinctive photographic language through surreal compositions, unconventional portraiture, and an exploration of identity, gender, and creative freedom. Produced entirely on film, the book brings together celebrated images alongside previously unpublished work, offering a comprehensive overview of his artistic legacy and international impact.
