The Boy Is Beautiful #3 is an independent queer magazine exploring Greek identity, homoerotic art, and LGBTQ+ history through photography, visual art, and storytelling by international artists.

Inspired by the ancient Greek inscription ο Παῖς Καλός (“The Boy Is Beautiful”), traditionally found on Attic vases, the magazine traces queer Greek heritage from mythology and antiquity to contemporary life. Publisher and editor Leonidas Liolios revisits stories of figures such as Zeus and Ganymede, Achilles and Patroclus, and Sappho, questioning how queer histories have been preserved, erased, or reinterpreted over time. This issue celebrates Greece as a shared cultural space for queer people everywhere, connecting ancient traditions with modern experiences of identity, desire, and belonging.
